The churches are often making events for their members. Sometimes they also do things for the poor. They do resources raisers to be able to collect as much money as possible.

There have been a lot of money raisers recently. Nike wristbands around the area where Hurricane Katrina took place made a lot of fundraising, so they can help people to get back on their feet. There were so many people accepting donations the American Red Cross or any foundation of their choice, and it becomes a win-win situation. However, won't that people enjoy and value more and  be more willing to donate if they have a little something in return that means a message?
